I>^v is a symbol that represents the affirmation “I Am Greater Than My Highs And Lows”. It reminds us that we are not defined by our highs or our lows, our good days or our bad days. When we are high, it reminds us to stay humble. When we are low, it reminds us to stay hopeful. No matter who you are, or what you are going through…it’s an important reminder to everyone, always. A universal symbol that each one of us can attach our own feelings and meaning to.
We were introduced to this symbol, and it’s meaning, when my son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (t1d) at age 10. The meaning for a diabetic is related to not having a functioning pancreas and needing to consistently manage blood sugar highs and lows, which can be frustrating and isolating. The more I shared this symbol, the more I realized how many people connected with it in their own personal way. Here, we are keeping the affirmation alive and giving it a place to live, allowing it to remind us the WE Are Greater Than Our Highs And Lows! We will share stories, pictures, volunteer opportunities, fundraising events and hopefully help some people (all of us!) who might need to see this pop up on their feed now and then🤍
