Controlling my mental health has been the number one most important lesson I have learned during my weight loss journey. My body has taught me that no matter how healthy I eat, if I am stressed my body is in survival mode and is NOT going to release fat because cortisol is going to control my endocrine system.
This week has been an extreme challenge with a new boss. I'm happy to have the resources from Dr. A's Habits of Health and Nancy Fickas, my long time Shaklee expert, to stay on track. And my primary care physician's lectures on taking care of all the health indicators to find the balance to allow my body to lose weight.
My prior self would roll over and console my stress with some bad food/drink choices. My current self is taking my food choices day by day and tripling my Shaklee Stress Relief Complex and Women's Vita-Lea.
