Logan Eye Care Center "See Your Best-Do Your Best" Dr. Wells is native of Logan County and a graduate of Logan County High.

He pursued his college education at Western Kentucky University and received his Bachelors of Economics in 1994. In 2005, he furthered his education at Indiana University School of Optometry, where he graduated, in May 2009, with honors as Doctor of Optometry. On December 29, 2009, he became owner and the Optometrist of Logan Eye Care Center.

Meet the Optometrists of Logan Eye Care Center.

Dr. Thad and Dr. Audrey are the two optometrist at Logan Eye Care Center. Not only are they colleagues, but they are also cousins. Together, they will provide you with the best care possible for your eye health needs.

Dr. Audrey Wells was born and raised in Logan County to Bonnie and Grayson Wells. She is a 2016 graduate from Logan County High and received her Bachelors from Western Kentucky University in 2020. In 2020, she was employed at Logan Eye Care Center as a pretest tech and went on to further her optometry education in 2021 at Indiana University School of Optometry. She recently graduated from IU School of Optometry in May 2025 as a Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Audrey has been the associate optometrist at Logan Eye Care Center since September 2, 2025.

Dr. Thad Wells is a native of Logan County and a graduate from Logan County High. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Western Kentucky University in 1994. In 2005, he furthered his education at Indiana University School of Optometry and graduated in 2009 as a Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Thad has been owner and optometrist of Logan Eye Care Center since December 28, 2009. He is a deacon at Horton Chapel Church of Christ and is married to Courtney Wells. Together, they are proud parents of Kenzie and Emma.
