Baby is officially past due and on puppy watch.

At this stage, I don’t just let expecting moms out alone. I walk with them. Yes, literally es**rt them to potty like a nervous stage mom.

Why?
Because when they’re this far along, a mom can be pushing to poop… and surprise, it’s a puppy. And yes, I have absolutely had to scoop a puppy off the ground mid-squat and rush it inside while mom’s like, “Ma’am, I wasn’t finished.” 😳🐶

This is what responsible breeding looks like in real time.
Not glamorous. Very hands-on. Zero days off.

Any minute now, Baby’s Aussiedoodle puppies will decide it’s go time… and I’ll be right here, shoes on, eyes open, ready to catch.

Miracle update 🤍

Miracle has been staying warm and safe during this ice storm, but like the rest of us, she’s starting to get a little stir-crazy from all this inside time. Cabin fever is real when you’ve got puppy zoomies and nowhere to zoom.

She’s sweet, gentle, curious, and has those eyes that look straight through you and into your soul. Miracle is still waiting for her forever home, and she’s being so patient about it.

Happy birthday, Tallie 🎂🐾

Dog-sitting duties today for this Kitty Rocky pup, and she’s doing that polite little “one paw forward, head tilt engaged” thing like she knows she’s the guest of honor.

Best part? She gets to head home today to celebrate her birthday with her people. I just get the warm-up act and the couch cuddles. Fair trade, honestly.

Double-checking the dogs, the heaters, the backup heaters… and of course something decided not to cooperate right on cue 😅

Huge thank-you to my wonderful neighbors Chelsea and her husband who came right over without hesitation to help me get things sorted. That kind of kindness matters more than people realize.

And of course, Lee insisted on being picked up. He’s trained Amy to lift him every morning, so now he’s convinced this is a community responsibility 😂

Grateful for good neighbors, teamwork, and looking out for one another as this storm rolls in. 💛🐾
