I had hit this place in my life where I was entering agreements and contracts based on fear.

Fear of not being chosen, fear of never having another opportunity, fear of no one finding out about my work or my contributions.

Like, how do you are you enjoying the moments when you are always worried its going to slip away? It was leading to disappointment and misguided paths pretty much 100% of the time.

When I took a step back - situations became way more clear to me. It was pretty apparent I needed to reassess where I was in life and where I was trying to go.

For a long time I convinced myself that when you make a promise or when you demonstrate loyalty it means forever. Forsaking yourself and the need to grow in new environments as you evolve.

Much like birthing children, who I was when I created affirm versus who I am today; the sun and the moon. Both integrally important, but with different purposes.

This paradigm shift feels good, so I know this is making the right move. I want to be proud of my work and I want to have intention, sustainability and independent thinkers at the core of that work.

No more Affirm website? I’ll do one last summer batch that will be available to ship through socials.

My people are on adventure. I want to focus on the learning. I want time to pause and reflect. And I definitely want to reimagine a new tale based on love and cooperative principles.

Its been 4 years of traveling through creativity - in that world I am a wife, an ASD mom, a full time employee. At some point I had to make sure I wasn’t feeling guilty about taking care.

I want to refine and Affirm my Ritual. 🦋

Its a journey, my whole existence is full of intersections that require and deserve my advocacy. From myself as a woman who operates in many shared spaces, to my family and the needs of my little one. Its really hard to determine where to give attention when everyone wants it. What is staying consistent about that challenge is - wellness. Wellness is ours, the foundation of everything we touch. I dream about all the things I love and when I’ll see all of those things thrive together.

The seasons are changing here and its the perfect time to remind you to take care of your beautiful skin by keeping it clean, moisturized and drinking your water. You can fight off Eczema and other dermatitis flair ups just by honoring your daily ritual and giving attention where attention is needed.

🐝cause, this idea gives you a rich perspective for those souls that do not want to clean herbs out of the tub or just cant because they live in a 1930s bungalow like myself. Brew your bath tea on the stove or steep it and pour the tea into your bath water.
