Healing isn’t about “fixing” what’s broken—it’s about tending to the whole system. 🌱✨

The Western model of health treats the body and mind like a machine: if something isn’t working, remove it, repair it, or replace it. But true healing requires a different approach—one that sees the bigger picture.

Like a gardener nurturing her plants, deep healing means looking beyond surface-level symptoms. Is the soil depleted? Is something blocking the roots from receiving nutrients? Is there too much wind, too little sunlight? Every element matters.

Healing isn’t just about pulling weeds—it’s about restoring balance.

I'm a psychotherapist, trauma specialist, and avid student of happiness. I host the Stubborn Gladness podcast, where I share what I know about mental health -- how to heal it, enjoy it, and protect it.
