Yeeehaw! We're honored to have collaborated with the genius minds and crazy skilled craftsmen of the mighty for their 7 year anniversary drop, Cowboy Coffee! 🦬🏴‍☠️

This strong ABV (15.3%!) Black Sails Coffee infused, Imperial stout was aged for 25 months in a 10 year Heaven Hill bourbon barrel and tastes like maple syrup, vanilla beans, and of course - coffee.

Its basically the best way to start your day this side of coffee, so giddy up cowboy! This is something you don't want to miss out on. Stop by the brewery and grab a bottle or two before El Capitan drinks it all 🤠

2 different coffee trailers. A failed warehouse. A house fire. We fell a few times in the past 5+ years but Citrus Heights; you helped us get our glory back.

Ya'll showed out this past weekend for our grand opening and we couldn't be more thankful to be apart of the community. 🖤

This is just the beginning and we have a lot more planned once we finish laying out this strong foundation.

We hope you'll continue to join us on this journey and watch us grow! And if you havent already, sail on in and see what all the hype is about!

We said we would, so we have to. 🫡

We're Citrus Heights and now you can read about our journey thus far in the Sacramento Business Journal (link in comments/paywall) in an article written by Jake Abbott.

From the article: "I've had a month to figure things out and right the ship," McCullough said ahead of the planned grand opening. "Within that month, I've already sourced a new roaster through connections I've made in being in the local coffee community for so long. I'm a pretty driven person and I'm not going to stop until these doors open. My whole house burned down, but this has been a good distraction and allowed me to put my focus into something other than that loss."

Grateful beyond words for our friends in the Sac coffee community letting us borrow this new to us roaster to help us get back up on our feet AND for providing a space for us to do so.
