☀️🌸🌷We have blue skies and longer days and and we are about to hit peak season in the Sacramento area for real estate. If you are thinking about selling this spring or anytime this year, you’re going to want to keep an eye out for these market reports. If they aren’t coming out fast enough for you or if you’d like a snapshot of your own neighborhood, I am happy to pull up the stats.

This is a snapshot of what’s happening in the Lincoln area where I live. 🏡

🧐My thoughts- Because we’re coming out of the winter months, our average days on market are pretty high, especially at the higher price points. There are always less buyers looking at higher price points and they tend to be a little more sensitive to seasonal changes in the market. In addition to that, there’s always fewer houses for sale. I imagine the number of in-contract and sold homes is going to rise as well as homes for sale. What we would like to see is the average days of market to go down. 💖

For the second year in a row, I have made the coveted Real Producer Top 500 List! This marks me as the top 2% of agents in our area, and about the top 5% in the entire United States. 💫

3 years ago, I was lucky enough to be named a Real Producer “Star on the Rise.” 🌟

This post might seem like bragging, but it’s a big freaking deal and a little bit unbelievable to me.

I am grateful for all the people that I’ve been able to help over the years who’ve made this a reality. I LOVE what I do, and that is because of the people I get to surround myself with. ❤️

And, YES, hard work, tireless implementation, and constant reminders that people matter have played a role in my success. I have a great mentor in , a fantastic team, and great family support. But it just been too much “luck” to ever deny that God is watching over me and telling me He’s got me. I feel like He leads the right people to me, and I’ll forever be grateful for that!❤️

I am happy to say that the last closing of 2024 will be my own! 🏡 Logan and I wrapped up the year by purchasing our second rental property 🎉. These homes certainly aren’t fancy, but that’s ok because they represent so much more to us.

We have always wanted passive income in rentals but, to be honest, we were scared to take the leap. Many of our friends had rentals, we knew it penciled out, but the fear of potential loss kept us from collecting rentals years ago. I don’t totally understand that, BUT I do know that taking the leap and buying the first one felt like such a celebration. Then buying the second was so much easier! We hope to mitigate our risk by purchasing one or two more next year too.🎉🙏🏻

I think the moral of our story is if you’re scared to buy a home, that’s totally NORMAL. Even someone like me who
believes in real estate investing and lives and breaths this stuff gets nervous. 💕

The thing about fear is it is not very productive if we don’t manage it. 😳 Fear has its place in making a careful decision, but if it’s making you have decision paralysis, it might help if you have a real estate agent who’s been there and understands.

Here is the wild thing, my son, Luke, bought 2 rentals this year too. Think about how much farther he will be than us when he’s our age! 😱

🌳If you have big goals, owning Real Estate must be part of that picture. If you don’t want to be working forever, and you’d like passive income to supplement your retirement, I would love to help you. Who knows, maybe YOU could be making a post like this at the end of 2025!!!🙏🏻
