Every once in a while, a random seed will fall into the wrong batch of microgreens, and every time I see this happen, it puts a smile on my face and reminds me to bloom wherever I am planted.

Just like my sunflower microgreen seed has taken root, sprouted and grown in the middle of a tray of arugula microgreens!! My sunflower microgreen is not trying to fit in and there’s no competition… They just grow together!

That’s how life should be, we are each on our own individual journeys and we should all be encouraging eachother to grow in our own unique ways, living in truth, as to who God created us to be! 🌱

My girl and I love pizza, but we don’t like the way most pizza crust makes our guts feel…bloated, full and overall irritated, so I tried a new kind of crust!

I was skeptical on how it would taste/form, but I’m not gonna lie… we love it, and this was our second time making it this week!

It’s a mixture of shredded chicken, an egg and parmesan cheese… Cook in the oven at 425° for 15 minutes, add your toppings, then cook for another 10 min and your super healthy pizza is almost ready!! Just top with some of our sunflower Microgreens…and enjoy!

Try it… I promise you’ll thank me later!!

Im working in Sacramento and I have a bit of time until my next appointment! My favorite thing to do is find a specialty coffee shop or tea bar and get some work done on my microgreen social media accounts. Today I found a super cute place called . They have amazing tea options… If you’re in the sack area and haven’t tried them, definitely find a place to park and stop by! This place has been hoppin the whole time I’ve been here and their customer service is phenomenal!

FYI… they are black tea with vanilla and oat milk is amazing!

Ahhh…my first albino sunflower microgreen!! So fun to grow these little micros and I love it when a surprise pops up!

These sunnies are packed full of nutrients, vitamins and flavor!

Delivery day is my favorite day!!

It’s so fun that I get to grow healthy microgreens that I’m so passionate about and partner with really cool venues, and they put these tiny greens on their menu to share with their customers!! It’s a total blessing to think I have a small part in offering healthy SUPERFOODS to our community! 🌱

I’ve been working behind the scenes to grow microgreens, work on marketing and figure out the business side of things for Root To Rise…and my hope & goal was to partner with local farm-to-fork restaurants, cafes, breakfast venues, deli’s, taqueria‘s, juice bars, etc…

Today I met with and at Bloom Coffee to share my microgreens with them. It was so great to meet with these two, not only do they run a super cool coffee shop/cafe in Roseville, but they are really amazing people that I was blessed to meet.

They made breakfast sandwiches (B.L.E.T and The Bagel Sandwich) and I brought the microgreens. Their food is delicious on its own, but the added microgreens took the flavor up a notch with every bite!

I’m so excited and honored to be able to partner with and provide microgreens for their menu!

If you haven’t tried out Bloom Coffee & Tea, I’d recommend their London Fog Tea and of course one of their breakfast sandwiches or avocado toast with microgreens! You’ll thank me later! 😉

Ever since college, coffee/tea shops have been one of my favorite places to work, study, create, etc…

I’m not sure what it is about having other people close by, slightly overhearing conversations, seeing strangers interact, and the hustle of a busy venue, but I love it!! Somehow I block it all out and I’m able experience the busyness in the background but also be entrenched in my work, focus on what I’m doing, be creative and surprisingly the organized chaos keeps me on track. I’ll get distracted and people watch for a few minutes then go back to my work. It’s so amazing how our minds work and how we can multitask and be productive!! Just a random thought, as I’m working at a coffee shop!! ☕️ 🫖

Anyone else love working at local coffee/tea shops? If so, where are some of your favorites? Any of them have small bites with microgreens that I need to visit? Please share??
