Spring is here, but that doesn’t mean you have to be bursting with energy overnight. 🌸

It’s Mental Health Action Day! 🎉
 
We are encouraging our partners to take action around their mental health by integrating simple “deskercise” activities into their classrooms to keep the energy flowing throughout the day:
 
🏆 Desk push-ups: stand and lean against a desks with hands on the edge, then push up, keeping your bodies straight. It’s a great upper body and core workout!

💪🏽 Arm circles: extend your arms and make small circles, gradually widening them. This exercise is wonderful for shoulder mobility and strength.

🎖️ Seated leg lifts: perfect for a quick leg and core exercise- sit, extend your legs, hold, and slowly lower them without touching the floor.

👏🏼 Chair squats: stand up from your chair and sit back down without fully resting, repeating several times. It’s an excellent exercise for the legs and core.

🚀 Shoulder shrugs: a quick way to relieve neck and shoulder tension, shrug you shoulders close to their ears, hold, and release.

💭 Reflect on these movements and let us know in the comments how you feel afterwards.
