Hi everyone, I'll begin with an apology for disappearing off of social media. This announcement has been a difficult one ~ Mel's Low Carb Co is closed.
This has been a very hard decision to make. I strongly dislike the timing. However, any time doesn't feel like a good time to say I've gone out of business.
I truly thank each and every one of you for your support throughout these four and a half years. A lot of you have been here with me from the beginning, and I can't express how much that means to me.
I want to take a moment to thank my husband Doug for keeping MLCC going. He has been the financial backbone when he should not have been. He is and will always be my cheerleader in everything I do. He thinks I'm awesome. I need to believe in myself the way he does.
Thank you to everyone who checked on me this last week, and again, I apologize for ghosting social media. This news hurts, and my heart is sad.

"It was awful,"
I got this photo and a message from a new customer.
He was kidding, but man did that make my stomach sink before I opened the whole message and got all the details. He said he started with a bite and ended up here (the photo), all gone.
If you loved your low-carb goods this week, let me know! If you hated your low-carb goods this week, let me know that, too! I love feedback, good or bad. Personally, bad feedback makes me work harder.
I can't tell you how many recipes I have tried developing just to fail. As a pastry chef, I've had more failures than success. Baking truly is a science. As a savory chef, you can usually find a way to fix it. Pastry chefs just get to throw it away 😒 and try again.

I've fallen in love with these cups!
Every bite delicious.
This week - Peanut Butter Cup & Lemon Mixed Berry.
Peanut Butter Cup: chocolate cake pieces with whipped peanut butter filling, chopped peanut butter pieces (Lily's brand), vanilla whipped topping and a chocolate drizzle.
Lemon Mixed Berry Cup: vanilla cake dipped in lemon simple syrup with mixed berry compote, lemon curd, and vanilla whipped topping.
