Over the last decade the interaction for non-emergency care between patients and health care providers has become convoluted with time consuming bureaucracy. Even more so when urgent or immediate care is needed. With the advent of data-driven and user-friendly applications, patients are increasingly looking for a straight forward and direct approach to health care access and scheduling. Too often, the patient’s only option is to call from office to office, only to be turned down or referred to someone else. Our goal is to simplify the process by allowing instant, direct and transparent interaction and remaining economical at the same time.
Open2Care is a unique web and mobile native application; which aims to democratize health care by making it accessible and open for everyone who needs care, especially urgent care. The application connects dental and medical care centers directly with patients who are looking for easy access, transparency and relevant information to find, select and book appointments with care centers.
Both users and care centers benefit by helping create a transaction that ultimately results in a match. For example, patients looking for emergency dental care after-hours can do a simple search for dental offices that provide late evening, weekend or 24 hour coverage. Previously the patient would either call local dental offices or hope an emergency dental practice found on the web leads to an actual office instead of a national dental call in database service.
