🌱 Re-Rooted Exchange is back!

Join us on Saturday, Dec 6 for another ReRooted Baby and Maternity Exchange and Giveaway.

To make it easier for more families to participate, we’re accepting donations Mon–Fri during normal business hours the week prior. This added flexibility helps increase access for our whole community.

Bring your gently used maternity, baby, and parenting items during regular classes December 1-4th so that we have enough time to organize before the event!

Come to the Holiday Bash on 12/6 and take what you need — let’s keep the cycle of support growing. 💚

The studio is closed all of Thanksgiving week - with the exception of this one special toddler dance class at 11am on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday the 26th!

Come join Jayde for one more toddler dance class before her internship ends and get your kid's wiggles out before the holiday. Class is just $5 per kid and suggested ages are from age 18 months to 5 years. Hope to see you there! Link in bio to sign up.

You can bring any of the above items to the studio between now and December 6th. We will be partnering with the kids at Balance Dance Project .dance.project to assemble bags to be handed out to unhoused neighbors in the couple days before Christmas. Last year Kellie and Emily did this with her girls and we are expanding the project to include the rest of the dance teams at Balance and soliciting donations from our village at The Root and Balance. The girls put hand written cards in each of the bags and we hand delivered to folks that otherwise may not have received this sort of gift. I'm thrilled to share my support of Capital Stage's latest play "Eureka Day." We were offered tickets to check it out last week and it was so wonderful to see a show that takes a hot button topic and infuses it with hilarity and empathy, this is theater at it's best. And our small non-profit theaters and arts organizations need our support more than ever. And as parents and especially new parents, getting out and having a night away from your kids to recharge and laugh and feel the humanness we all share through the medium of the arts is also equally important. 👯‍♀️ Toddler Dance Night at The Root! 💃
Join us Wednesday, Oct 29 at 6pm for a 30-minute toddler dance class led by our wonderful Sac State Early Childhood Studies intern, Jayde, followed by free play time!

This special session runs alongside our regular Prenatal Yoga class, so little ones can dance and play while moms relax and recharge. 💛

We are excited to offer this donation-based yoga class on most Thursdays this fall.

Mary Anne Cox has been teaching Buti Yoga for over 13 years, she is also a certified in 200 hour RYT, Spin, SCILPT and prenatal yoga.

Buti Yoga is a high-energy fusion of vinyasa flow, HIIT, tribal dance, and hip hop—think music-driven movement that’s powerful, sweaty, and seriously fun.

We are doing a trial to gauge interest on these classes this fall. Come dance and move and breathe with us on Thursdays beginning October this Thursday the 23rd 5:45-6:45pm. This class is currently donation-based with a suggested donation of $10-15. You can also reserve a childcare spot for $5 per kid.
