HEALTHY DINNER IDEA: EASY BEEF & BROCCOLI BOWLS🥦🥩
this healthier version of a classic take-out favorite makes the perfect weeknight dinner & can be made it less than 15 minutes💃🏼
MAKE IT👩🏼🍳
1️⃣ Prep the beef - cut a 1lb flank steak into thin 1/4 inch thick strips (cut perpendicular to the muscle fibers) & cook in a saute pan over medium heat until just cooked through (~5 minutes)
2️⃣ Prep the broccoli - steam 3-4 cups broccoli (I microwave in a bowl with water for ~2 minutes)
3️⃣ Prep the sauce - in a saucepan over low heat, combine the following to make the sauce
↠ 2 tbsp sesame oil
↠ 1/3 cup soy sauce
↠ 4- 5 cloves crushed garlic
↠ 1 tbsp crushed ginger (I use trader joes frozen ginger & do about 3 cubes)
↠ 2 tbsp coconut sugar (sub monk fruit sugar to make sugar-free)
↠ 1/2 tbsp tapioca flour (add last to thicken)
4️⃣ Top with sesame seeds & serve over rice or enjoy on its own!
