As we enjoy the beautiful sunshine this season, it’s important to remember that sun safety for seniors means more than just SPF.

👒 Wear a wide-brimmed hat and light, long-sleeved clothing
💧 Stay hydrated with plenty of water
🕶️ Protect eyes with UV-blocking sunglasses
🕑 Avoid direct sun during peak hours (10 AM – 4 PM)
🪑 Take breaks in the shade or indoors to cool down
