On September 3, we joined hundreds of others at the Capitol for Recovery Happens, hosted by the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP).

This annual event celebrates the strength and resilience of individuals in recovery from Substance Use Disorder while bringing together treatment providers from across the region to share resources, build connections, and collaborate on improving care.

Our team proudly shared resources and services available at One Community Health and joined the Banner Walk around the Capitol, standing with our community to celebrate recovery and promote lasting wellness. đź’ś

September is Su***de Prevention Month - a special time to come together and break down barriers around mental health. It’s a gentle reminder that you’re not alone. Su***de can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or profession. Remember, prevention begins with connection, support, and hope. Let’s support each other during this important month.

On October 25th at the State Capitol, we will once again join American Foundation for Su***de Prevention - Greater Sacramento Chapter for the Out of the Darkness Walk. We will be there to share information about the Behavioral Health services available at One Community Health and to walk in solidarity with survivors, families, and advocates. đź’™

Earlier this month, we hosted our Patient & Community Appreciation Fair, where we handed out more than 400 backpacks to students, offered free health screenings, distributed dental hygiene kits, provided one-on-one MyChart support, and so much more. đź’™

Events like these are just one of the many ways we invest directly in our families and community.

And the best part? It was a free event open to the public.

One Community Health is committed to reducing overdose deaths in our community.

Join us on Friday, August 29th, at our Midtown Campus to pick up free overdose prevention supplies and learn how to use them. You’ll also find resources for treatment and support if you or someone you love needs help. In addition, we will have a remembrance activity to honor and celebrate the lives of those we have lost to overdose.

Together, we can build a safer, healthier community. đź’ś

One Community Health was honored to participate in a community-led event at The Bolt this past weekend. The night sparkled with a gold theme. Guests arrived in their gold fashions and walked the red carpet, filling the space with energy and celebration. ✨

Behind the scenes, our team was proud to offer on-site HIV testing while engaging with Sacramento’s nightlife community. It was more than just an event; it was a true display of community, and we’re grateful to have been part of it. 💙

Happy National Tooth Fairy Day! This day reminds us about the importance of oral health and helps encourage children to develop positive dental habits. It’s also a great chance to talk with kids about proper oral care and the importance of regular check-ups.

Question: Why is the tooth fairy so smart?
Answer: Because she's collected a lot of wisdom teeth 🦷
