CONDITIONING

Never enjoyed this work, but that certainly will not stop me from grinding it out. I always feel terrible when I focus purely on hypertrophy or strength without adding in conditioning sessions. Made it a priority to keep my fitness up while trying add some weight on the scale. Weight is up, body fat is consistent!

FUNCTIONAL FICTION

There seems to be a misunderstanding of what makes an exercise functional. You don’t always need a bosu ball or some stupid spinning maneuver with a cable machine to make it “functional”. The context in which you apply an exercise is what determines it’s function. Strength or hypertrophy in isolation can certainly be functional with the appropriate athlete. Build the foundation and the rest with follow.
