I loved having the opportunity to work here!

At the CCHAT Center, having staff members with hearing loss is a point of emphasis. These mentors provide invaluable knowledge in the field and can rely on first-hand experience when communicating to families of children who are deaf and hard of hearing.

The Yosemite Half Marathon Crew! Half of these runners ran their first marathon and I’m so proud of them! The other half returned for their second destination race and we’re not sure if were ready for a third 🤣 Enjoying the rest of the trip with family & lake life. So thankful for a job that allows me some R&R so I can come back energized and ready to give my best to the patients 💙 Thank you for those who reached out, supported, & cheered me on!💗

I actually love hearing the Verifit throughout the clinic. On pediatric patients we use SREM + RECDs (simulated real-ear measurements) to verify hearing aid settings, but on older kids, teens, & adults we use REM (real-ear measures), which can be heard through walls sometimes😆.
