Just a warm reminder that our next Dementia Support Group meeting is happening this Friday at 2:30 PM at Holy Trinity Church in Nevada City.

These gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to:

Share experiences in a safe, supportive space

Find comfort, encouragement, and maybe even a few laughs

Hello friends,

I hope you're all doing well and taking gentle care of yourselves.
I wanted to let you know that we’ll need to cancel our support group meeting this Friday at Holy Trinity. I’ll be away attending a family wedding, and I appreciate your understanding.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 8th, at 10:00 AM at the Gold Country Senior Center. I’m really looking forward to being with you all then — your presence and support mean so much.
In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything or just want to talk.

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:

💛 Drivers (deliver meals & smiles)
💛 Member Services (front desk & support)
💛 Servers (Senior Lunch)
💛Senior Firewood Program (stacking/hauling)
💛 Dishwashers (keep the kitchen humming)

Even a couple hours a week (or month) helps. Come solo or bring a friend—training provided!

I want to invite you to the Nevada County Dementia Support Group meetings happening tomorrow morning at the Gold Country Senior Center at 10:00AM and at Lake Wildwood at 2:30 PM. We will also gather this Friday at Holy Trinity in Nevada City at 2:30 PM.

Joining a dementia support group can be incredibly comforting for caregivers and families. These meetings provide a compassionate environment where you can share your experiences, connect with others who understand what you’re going through, and reduce feelings of isolation.
