On this longest night of the year, we gather in the quiet.

For those whose hearts feel tender while the world sings of joy.
For grief carried softly. For sadness without words.

Tonight, we hold space—together.

Hello Friends,
We’d love to have you join us for our Dementia Caregiver Support Group this Friday at 2:30 PM at Holy Trinity in Nevada City. This will be our last meeting of 2025.
With Christmas just a week away, this season can feel especially heavy for caregivers—bringing up memories, changes, and emotions that aren’t always easy to name. This gathering is simply a chance to connect with others who understand what caregiving with dementia can be like, whether you feel like sharing, listening, or just being there.
Our group is a relaxed, caring space where you don’t have to explain yourself or have it all together. Come as you are—tired, overwhelmed, hopeful, or anywhere in between. Even a little time together can help remind us that we’re not alone.
If you’re able to make it, we’d be glad to see you. And if not, we wish you a beautiful, gentle holiday season and look forward to connecting with you again in 2026.

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re doing as well as possible as we move through this busy and often emotional time of year. This is a gentle reminder that our Dementia Support Group will meet tomorrow at 10:00 AM at the Gold Country Senior Center for our final gathering at the Senior Center for 2025.

While this is our last meeting of the year at the Senior Center, we want you to know that we will have one more gathering next Friday, December 19th, at Holy Trinity in Nevada City. You are welcome at whichever meeting feels right for you—or both.

The holiday season can be especially challenging for caregivers. Traditions change, routines get disrupted, and the emotional weight of caring for a loved one living with dementia can feel even heavier. Support groups offer a safe, understanding space where you can:

Connect with others who truly understand what you’re experiencing.

Feel seen, supported, and heard during a time that can bring up many emotions.

Share coping strategies for navigating holiday stress and changing family dynamics.

Learn helpful resources that may lighten your caregiving load.

Strengthen your resilience through community, compassion, and shared experience.

We would love to see you and share some warmth, understanding, and encouragement as we close out the year together.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to send a quick, friendly reminder that our dementia support group is meeting this Friday at 2:30 pm at Holy Trinity in Nevada City. I’d really love to see you there.

These meetings are a chance to take a breath and be around people who understand what this journey can feel like—the ups, the confusion, the love, the frustration, all of it. You don’t need to show up feeling any particular way; just come as you are.

Being part of the group can really help:

You get support from people who get it.

You hear practical tips and real-life experiences that can make things a little easier.

You feel less alone, even on the tough days.

You have a safe space to let out whatever you’re carrying.

If you have questions or just need to talk before then, I’m here.
Hope to see you Friday. 💛
