👩🏻‍⚕️ During this COVID pandemic we have noticed an upsurge of new contact lens wearers at our office. Patients are tired of their glasses fogging up when wearing masks, and being cooped up more also means more time to try out new things.

👩🏻‍⚕️ Dear patient family:

We hope you and your loved ones are safe during this pandemic. In accordance with Sacramento County's Public Health Office guidelines, we will resume routine eyecare services for our patients on a part-time basis starting May 4th. The week of May 4th, we will be open limited hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. After that time, our office will be open our normal hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until further notice. We are dedicated to providing your quality care while ensuring you and your loved ones remain safe. To our patient family:

Per the state & CDC recommendations regarding COVID-19, our office will be closed for an extended period of time through the end of April. We will be available on-call for urgent/emergency eye care only, to our current patients. Routine and non-essential eye care services are not considered “essential” at this time. This includes routine eye exams, dry/gritty sensations in your eyes, itchy eyes, or first-time contact lens evaluations.

Urgent/emergency situations include sudden vision changes/vision loss, eye trauma/injuries, pink eye, red eye, or any other eye issues that interfere with or significantly hamper day-to-day activities. These medical visits are typically covered under your medical insurance plan. If we do not accept your medical plan, you may be covered if you have VSP. VSP has extended medical eye care services to all of its members for the month of April.

If you have lost or broken your glasses and have no backup, please contact us. We may be able to help, but if you have a high prescription and require lenses from a lab, it make take longer than usual to get glasses. We can also help you re-order contact lenses.

If you received notification that your glasses are ready for pick up, you may call to arrange for a curbside pick up, or we can ship them to you directly for $5.
