Each month, our Elder Services Network Sacramento Region organizes a senior industry networking event at various venues in the Greater Sacramento Area. Two weeks ago, I had the privilege of co-hosting with the fabulous team at McIlwain Mobility! I so appreciated the opportunity to showcase some of my life saving innovations including Addison Care! The credit for the venue, delicious food, decorations, and fun goes to the McIlwain team! You should see the variety of mobility vehicles at their showroom! Alta California Regional Center was our featured non-profit org. What a wonderful organization! Thank you to my colleagues on the ESN Advisory Committee, and to everyone who attended and an extra thank you for the raffle and Del Oro Cruise donations! Most of my senior workshops are on the topic of fall prevention because one fall can truly change it all. Last year I created another topic close to my heart, which focuses on the primary caregiver or care-partner. Cordova Seniors is hosting me on Monday, May 12th from 1 pm - 2 pm. This slide sums up what will be covered including a variety of handouts and a special book. Plus tissues because it's an emotional topic even for me as I was my mom's primary care-partner. What I didn't know then, I get to share now.
