Hi Athletes,

This Saturday we are having Nick from Strongman come in and do a fun interactive strongman clinic.

10-15 min warm up

35-40 min coaching and learning the events

20-30 min circuit style strongman workout.

8:30am Feb 1st at 1830 Vernon Street Ste 10, Roseville

We will have a 6:30am CF class for anyone that would like a workout in. AND we will have our 7:30am Fitness class as well (heads up the TGP Fit class only be one hour long this Saturday. It will end at 8:30am)

Everyone and anyone is invited including kids. I do need a headcount so he knows how much equipment to bring.

You can reserve in Wodify or email me and let me know you plan on attending.

There will be NO regular 9am Saturday Crossfit class or Barbell Class on this day.

It’s the part that you feel that none of what you are doing is making difference and you want to give up.

And then Coach Sam comes in and gives you the , this is the grind talk. You keep your head down and at some point you decide to look up and this is what you see…..

It’s the compound effect of all your efforts. It’s always a work in progress.

One of the biggest topics of conversation that I have with I my clients is not paying enough attention to their morning and night routines.

Here are some simple to follow rules to start applying right away:

ā˜€ļø Morning sunlight as soon as you wake
ā˜•ļø No caffeine > 12pm
šŸ‹šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø Don’t exercise 2-3 hours before bed
šŸ’” Dim lights at night
šŸ› Hot bath/shower 1 hour before sleep
🄶 Cool & dark bedroom

Your Health is Wealth for Your Family

Before a client officially starts the 63 Day Transformation…

I get them to write out their WHY.

I would say, 9.5 times out of 10, their WHY is connected to loved ones or family.

It’s the same for me.

The fact that I can spend high quality time with my family is a true blessing and gift for me.

Vs. being out of shape, in pain, foggy, and not in a great mood.

^ I’ve been there before. It’s not healthy not just for me, but for the well-being of my family.

Everyone is at a different spot in their journey, and I understand that.

But know that your fitness journey is also much bigger than yourself.

This is what I call ā€œhealth - wealthā€.

We all have our own version of it.

Having health - wealth allows you to improve your stamina and capacity, to keep up with the demand of work, family and your own self care, and thrive in it.

Health - wealth allows you to be more active and engaged with your family, being involved in activities that create lasting memories.

Health - wealth gives you the energy and motivation to pursue personal goals and hobbies outside of work, and have better focus and concentration to be more efficient in your day to day life.

Health - wealth helps alleviate those aches and pains in your back, knees, neck, etc. So that you are remembered for the good times on your family vacation, not what you couldn’t do.

Health - wealth significantly reduces feelings of anxiety, depression, or just lethargic thoughts, and gives you positive mood boosting thoughts which lead to better habits for more years of enjoying your life.

At the end of the day, health - wealth is not just about avoiding illness.

It’s about enhancing your quality of life and building true wealth in every aspect.

Meet Liz šŸ‘‹

Liz was so much fun to work with and is still utilizing the many tools that we helped her with while we were on her fitness and nutrition journey. Her biggest thing was getting re-connected to her purpose and passions. She loves to travel and wanted to feel good being active.

I check in with Liz often and here was her response:

"All is good, moving, watching what I eat. After seeing my blood work I knew that I was doing something right and needed eat as best as possible. Can’t eat like I’m 20 anymore. No trips planned, staying put for the rest of the year but giving thoughts to something next year. Gotta save up."
