Today was a long and emotional day. The holidays bring joy, but also deep grief. Every session centered around loss, preparing, processing, and facing the first holidays without someone they love.

Through it all, I felt a steady calmness and intuition guiding the conversations and holding space for these families.

And the universe sent so many little signs along the way.

Grateful for this work. Honored to walk beside families. And thankful for the snuggles waiting for me at home. ✨

December in child life is just juggling toy drives, special visitors, holiday parties, donor tours, flu season, budgets, intern reviews, and a full caseload…
No big deal. Totally fine. Everything’s great. 🙂🤪

I actually miss that hospital-level chaos this time of year, so I just create my own version of it in my community practice. 🎄

I’ll never forget telling my best friend before we left for that trip that something in my gut knew it would change my life. I had no idea how much. ✨

Australia led me to my future husband, a move to New York City, getting into a child life grad program, having my babies, and eventually starting a business I love. Sometimes your intuition whispers the truth long before you understand it. 💛
