At the end of March this year, she broke her right thumb during the first practice of the season with her team, and it took seven weeks for her to recover.
During those seven weeks, her arm was immobilized in a cast. Instead of sulking, she attended every practice, practicing left-handed layups despite the frustration.
She even attended basketball practice every single time, without missing a single game. Even though she’s my own daughter, I was impressed by her attitude.
I believe the fruits of her hard work during those difficult times were evident in her full-force dribble and left-handed layup today.
It was the moment when all her hard work paid off if she decided to continue practicing to overcome difficulties.
I hope she will enjoy this process, a moment of feeling good when it’s done.
This is another proud moment.
