Juicing my wheatgrass, broccoli and bean sprouts, cauliflower and broccoli stems, Bok choy, celery, radish, ginger and turmeric root, brussel sprouts, snow pea pods, peeled cucumber, seaweed, onions, garlic and mushrooms.

I donโ€™t always have time to juice all of these. When I am in a hurry I just juice Bok choy, brussel sprouts, pea pods, peeled cucumber, broccoli and bean sprouts and wheatgrass.

I start my day drinking 20 ounces of filtered water as soon as I wake up.
Then we drink my juice around 10 am or so.
We eat broccoli and bean sprout salad for lunch or a veggie wrap with hummus or my overnight oats soaked in oat milk.
For dinner we eat vegetable or potato soup or spaghetti sauce over cauliflower pasta or rice or spaghetti squash.
Author Brenda Novak and I exercise for 2 hours in front of our TV watching The Voice or Forensic Files etc.
Eating this way I feel better than when I was 40 and 50!

This is our new favorite pasta sauce. You have to try it.
The jar with a red label is Arrabbiata it is spicy good!
The jar with the black label is Pomodoro it is savory wonderful.
Author Brenda Novak does not even like mushrooms but she loves this sauce.
I put it on this cauliflower linguini with some steamed broccoli.
This meal is gluten free and plant based no animal saturated fat or animal protein.
Plant protein is so much more efficient. We get all the amino acids necessary from plants for our bodies to form the proteins we need.
When we consume animal proteins our body has to break them down and reform back into amino acids and then RE formulate them into the protein we use.
Animal products are acidic and plants are alkaline.
When you put too much acidic foods or drinks in your body it has to maintain ph balance. The only place it can go is to your bones to get calcium for alkalinity to balance ph.
Try to find plant alternatives for your food choices. Plants have the fiber that we need. Your body will thank you for it.

Being insulin sensitive is one of the most important health markers.
The way to accomplish this is to exercise cardio and weight lifting.
Eat less fructose - processed food instead eat more unprocessed food.
Eat food in its natural packaging. Something that does not have a label on it๐Ÿ˜€

We just finished our coast to coast book signing tour with Author Brenda Novak for her new release, The Seaside Library.

It was quite a trip!
We found it hard to eat as healthy on the road as we do at home.
We enjoyed seeing so much of the US and meeting so many wonderful readers.
We are glad to be home and back in our normal routine.
We work out for 2 hours almost every night in front of our TV,
watching The Voice or American Idol or some sporting event.
