Kristen the Doula

Kristen the Doula Women were not meant to labor alone. Women have been supporting women throughout time with successful, empowering results!

Birth Doulas provide information and support during pregnancy, continuous emotional and physical support throughout labor, support during the postpartum period including breastfeeding and newborn care to help you achieve your best birth experience! My goal is to support new mothers through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I provide information and support during pregnancy so women are able to make informed decisions and plan their ideal birth experience. I am a phone call away with any questions or concerns from pregnancy to postpartum, anytime. I am here to empower, educate, and comfort. I will be continuously present throughout labor and delivery to provide comfort techniques, positioning help, emotional support, advocating for mom, facilitating dad's role, a hand to hold (or squeeze), massage, encouragement, guided relaxation, ice chip getter... whatever mom needs. After the birth, I am there to guide breastfeeding, newborn care, postpartum care, additional support, information, and resources.
