✨ Educational Dinner Meeting Recap ✨

Tonight Sacramento Area AACN had the pleasure of bringing together nurses from hospitals all across our region for an evening of connection, learning, and shared growth.

A special thank you to Atricure for hosting for our SAC AACN members and for providing an engaging educational session on cryoSPHERE and cryo nerve block therapy. We appreciate the opportunity to learn about innovative, non-opioid approaches to surgical pain management and the nursing considerations that support patient care.

Thank you to everyone who joined us — it was amazing to see critical care nurses come together to expand knowledge and support one another outside of the bedside.

We are grateful for this community and the continued commitment to advancing critical care education together 🤍

An incredible day bridging the gap between EMS and nursing with hands-on exposure to ground and flight operations. From fixed-wing and rotor-wing tours to insights into critical care transport and flight nursing, this experience highlighted the teamwork that starts long before the hospital doors.

Our Sac AACN volunteers who showed up on a Wednesday—morning and afternoon—to give their time, energy, and hearts back to the community. From unloading, sorting, and serving, this group truly embodied what it means to volunteer-reflecting the heart of the AACN mission—supporting nurses while extending compassion, service, and advocacy beyond the bedside.

A huge shout-out to the Elk Grove Food Bank for the incredible work they do day in and day out to support families in our community. Their impact goes far beyond today, and it’s a reminder of how powerful service and compassion can be when people come together.
