I've been embarrassed to admit that at age 46, I've had to to have hip replacement surgery and I have not been the best patient. This photo is of my anterior dislocation two and a half weeks post operative. After 32 years of pushing my body to extremes and facing many injuries, this is my toughest challenge yet, especially since I've just been assigned to 6 weeks of being off my feet. Wish me luck, but most importantly, learn from my mistakes, be kind to and love your body, be gentle, loving and playful. Cultivate the wisdom to know when to push and when to rest. I love you all and I'll see you soon. Take care and love yourselves!
