Food insecurity is a reality many people across the country are facing. Let's separate myth from fact.

The truth is hunger doesn't discriminate. Many individuals facing hunger are employed but stretched thin by today’s high costs.

At St. Vincent de Paul we are working to help our neighbors in need across Placer County. To learn more about how you can help prevent food insecurity in your community visit our website at placersvdp.com.

Additionally, if you or someone you know is struggling to put food on the table, check out the "Get Help" page on our website to find out how we can help.

Food insecurity is more than an empty fridge, it’s the daily uncertainty of not knowing where the next meal will come from.

Millions of families, including children and seniors, face this reality every year. It affects not just how much people eat, but the quality and variety of food they can access.

But there is hope!

Through programs like our food locker, BAGS home delivery, dining room, and emergency rent and utility assistance, we’re working to meet neighbors where they are right here in Placer County.

If you want to help us on our mission to put an end to food insecurity you can visit our website through the link in our profile, or at placersvdp.com to learn more about how you can make a difference.
