Music Partners in Healthcare

Music Partners in Healthcare We Believe in the Healing Power of Live Music. Our organization partners with healthcare facilities to provide live, individualized music at the bedside.

From the tiniest premature infants to the elderly, research and personal experience have shown that live music provided by trained music practitioners can ease both mental and physical suffering. Appropriate music can facilitate relaxation, assist stabilization, and help bring familiarity to patients who are confused or anxious. Patients who are actively dying benefit from a specialized style of music which helps them relax and move comfortably through the physical release. Live music, provided by musicians trained for this purpose, can meet the changing needs of a patient. Local care facilities are implementing Healing Music Programs, recognizing the importance of treating the “whole” patient: body, mind, and spirit.
