Team Torch Team Torch is a group of women raising funds and awareness for the invaluable Sacramento based organization, Albie Aware, Inc. WANNA HELP OUT?

The lives of all the women on Team Torch have been touched immeasurably, whether it's been personally or by a close friend. This team is dedicated to raise $10,000 to help The Albie Aware foundation continue it's mission of aiding emotionally, financially and mentally, those women in the Sacramento area that may not have had the means or resources to diagnose, deal with or manage this terrible disease

Here's a little about Albie Aware, Inc. and all the good they have done for the ladies of Sacramento over the years:

This Foundation was created in memory of Albie Carson who succumbed to breast cancer on July 4, 2002. Albie was a 50-year resident of Sacramento where she attended school, raised a family, and made a career in the real estate community. She developed strong ties to the area and was well known and loved by her peers and clients alike. We find it only fitting that her legacy continues to be one of selfless giving. AWARENESS: “Albie Aware” sounds like “I’ll be aware” and that’s our purpose: To make people aware of cancer PREVENTION methods through nutrition and exercise, to encourage self-examination and a follow-up doctor’s appointment for early DETECTION, to be aware of the diagnostic testing available to determine the best TREATMENT for breast cancer and the early detection of a recurrence, and to provide financial assistance when these tests are not covered by the insurance provider. We always welcome your donations, large or small, but you can also help out by spreading the word! Be sure to tag, invite and share this page with your friends..
