If you are looking for a way to reduce stiffness and improve the range of motion in your shoulder joints, I have a magical exercise to share with you. Stiffness and limited ability to move the shoulder joint is a familiar experience for many of us, and if you have yet to discover a way to free up that joint and allow it to move without pain, shoulder rolls will surely help you. At first you'll feel the joint a little rigid, but the more you do this exercise, the bigger the shoulder rolls will become, and more importantly, you'll feel confident about your body's ability to move unhampered. I'm Edna Campbell, the program director for Breathe and Stretch. In the video below you see me performing one of the many stretches, or intentional movements that we use in our program to promote functional mobility, and improve range of motion in the shoulder joint. 😁

If you are experiencing stiffness, and limited range of motion in your shoulder joint, move through this exercise gently. Do 5-10 repetitions, and stop at any point in the motion where you feel pain. Do not push beyond that point. πŸ›‘

Inhale slowly and deeply as you raise your arms, and exhale as you bring your arms down to your side. πŸ™†πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

Breathe and Stretch is the result of my personal experience, and the positive results I have had with breathe work, and intentional movement in my healing journey, and I hope you too reap their benefits. 😊
