Yesterday was our monthly astrology group, and today, our monthly group work. (Usually not on the same weekend-that’s a lot of energy! lol There are 6/7 humans that rotate through those 2 spaces, sometimes partaking in my little food experiment, or getting bodywork or Shusta or spiritual Peership care…the bodywork practice is a much wider, more broad sort of thing…But these monthly groups we do are intimate, perspective enhancing, and spiritually focused-we get to the roots, here! We gently see, discern, have compassion and learn! We become more patient, harmless, and free, alongside.
It’s SO nice to share container together with folks intrinsically dedicated to making their own, ‘inner’ safe, so as to better contribute to, and adapt with the ‘outer’. THANK YOU friends!
Grateful for the culmination that keeps on growing! Grateful to feel aligned Being what I’m doing. May we all cheerfully, and resiliently Be Dharma. And collaborate, alongside. 🙌
Blessings to our 5- stage Age-change-we are surely living in New Lands! May we navigate them skillfully, and, with JOY.

Experimentation. Soak organic basmati rice in water 24 hours. Rinse and drain well. Boil it in pot with water for 20 minutes or a little more to make it sort of mushy. Add like a third of a cup of organic almond milk. Add a splash of pure vanilla extract, organic maple syrup, Handful of raisins, some cinnamon, and some rose and cardamom. Can I make a rice pudding from basmati rice?
Can I have a nourishing and pleasurable desert for moon-time, that lives within (my) Ayurvedic guidelines?…let us see!

Today’s creation (after turning more garden beds!!) “Mexican Moong Dal”! 24 hour soaked basmati rice and moong dal, rinsed and added to crockpot, with organic grass fed ghee, water, and Himalayan pink salt.
Cooked down for two hours, and then I add organic frozen cauliflower, rice organic diced tomatoes, organic vegan gluten-free, sugar free taco seasoning, organic frozen corn, and a bunch of fresh spinach! I think I will top it off with a bit of avocado to add a little coolness!

My Ayurvedic teacher/doctor, Swati, is helping me to slowly see what to feed this vehicle (for Soul) for balanced and long term health.
Kitchari (moong dal and basmati) is lovely in the spring, as I inch away from meat and detox for a time, and though some of the spices in the Mexican seasoning are perhaps too heating, I think the Fresh spinach and avocado might balance that with a bit of bitterness, and coolness?!
What a great journey!

Oooo this little home business is beginning to show what she’s produced underground from last years planting, over her first winter!!! Eeeee!
two organic fruit trees, the herb garden is starting to reappear, all the shade loving ferns in the front, and even some new fresh ecological seed full of clovers to help pollinator’s is coming in!
I am so blessed, and am learning so much.
May the land continue to ask of me what it is she needs, to become her dharma!

At the end of a longer in-home client day. My heart is so full. I serve the sweetest couple in their 80s /90s. We all sit in the same room, move slowly, learn, and laugh. Their love is just so…like gentle, joyous old sweethearts! They are both supremely bodily aware and funny and kind. I feel SO blessed to move slowly and deliberately giving these two-and anyone I see-all I’ve got.
At the end of session today the gentlemen (93 years old) says to me (with deep and joyous eye contact) that he is so grateful at my skill. That he has learned more from me about his body than any doctor, and he is so grateful. He says this so sweetly, with wide eyes and full heart; his gratitude apparent, shining through his whole being. Be still my heart. (Also, I certainly know I have very limited skills compared to Doctors! I also know some of the Docs side of the whole dilemma…) but anyways,
I have really tried to be more of an educator for folks than to just “do it for them”. And it is my privilege to continue to learn as many different ways as there are people, to try to help them understand and care for the Body that is uniquely theirs.
Blessings to your body, your bones, your heart, your nervous system; and the Soul that needs them all to Shine Out.
Deep gratitude for these-for all-special beings I get to serve.

MESSAGE

I wholeheartedly endorse the powerful appeal for peace made by the Holy Father, Pope Leo, during his Palm Sunday Mass. His call for the laying down of arms and the renunciation of violence resonated profoundly with me, as it speaks to the very essence of what all major religions teach.

Indeed, whether we look to Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism or any of the world's great spiritual traditions, the message is fundamentally the same: love, compassion, tolerance, and self-discipline. Violence finds no true home in any of these teachings. History has shown us time and again that violence only begets more violence and is never a lasting foundation for peace.

An enduring resolution to conflict, including the ones we see in the Middle East or between Russia and Ukraine, must be rooted in dialogue, diplomacy and mutual respect — approached with the understanding that, at the deepest level, we are all brothers and sisters.

I urge for and pray that the violence and conflicts may soon come to an end.
