ty and her Associates Degree focused on Psychology and English as a Second Language from Community College of Allegheny County. Violetta is an Adult Adoptee whose focus of study and certificates are based on intergenerational trauma and attachment for marriages and families. She is Adoption Competency Trained, A Trauma Therapist for intergenerational Family and Marriage Therapy, LGBTQA+ Affiliated, and a Firstplay� Therapy Practitioner. Her work with foster care and adopted children help families heal from the trauma of early childhood adversities and challenges. Being a Firstplay� Therapy Practitioner, Violetta assists caregiveres/parents and their babies in growing a healthy, secure attachment. Additionally, she has experience working with clients with eating disorders. She is committed to the city of Orlando’s healing and is providing free trauma and crisis therapy for One Pulse victims for the next two years. Violetta is a guest speaker at UCF and PBA Orlando for Graduate level Marriage and Family courses and Play Therapy courses. She is a Co-Facilitator at Palm Beach Atlantic University in the Masters of Counseling program for the Group Counseling class. She runs a free support group, Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACA), plus trains other facilitators. Her passion is utilizing client’s hobbies to assist in their healing process. She is exceptionally creative and uses Play Therapy, Adventure Therapy, Equine Therapy and Experiential Therapy. She is a relational therapist that sees the best in others and genuinely collaborates with her clients so they can connect their hearts and minds together and learn to love themselves. In her free time, she loves to play with her three fabulous kids. She enjoys being silly with her husband of 16 years by going to the beach, Cons, and movie dates. She is a foody with her friends and enjoys being adventurous.
