Filling your cup can be accomplished in many different ways. Yesterday my cup needed a refill so I decided to bring my two happy places together. My kitchen and my greenhouse. I don't have a nice sunny or warm windowsill for bread to rise, so why not use my greenhouse?!
I wasn't sure what to expect, especially since this was my first time making this type of bread, but regardless, I knew my cup would get filled by doing this. And for me, that's what mattered.
Food is one of my love languages, so without knowing the outcome, I still put my love and caring intentions into this. My family is often the first people to taste my experiments, and even if it flops, I want them to feel the love. To me, it's a win-win. I get to fill my cup, and my family gets their bellies full with hopefully yummy foods.
Fast forward a couple of hours, and I had perfectly warm and yummy artisan bread. My cup was full, and my family gave raving reviews. Win-win!
But the bigger message here is that even if we don't know the outcome, we should always move with love and caring intentions. We rarely know the outcomes of a journey, but if we start them off right, they will be more enjoyable, and oftentimes, others will benefit. Win-win 𼰠Society as a whole could use some more win-win scenarios.
