Happy Friday!!

Hi, Iā€™m Erica, founder of Light in the Dark.
For over 13 years, Iā€™ve worked alongside survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. For the last 9, Iā€™ve taught trauma-informed yoga in shelters, jails, and community spacesā€”witnessing firsthand the deep healing that can happen through gentle movement, breathwork, and nervous system repair.

Inspired by this work and my own healing journey, I created Light in the Darkā€”a space where people can come home to themselves. We offer somatic movement, breathwork, reiki, sound baths, and moreā€”all rooted in safety, presence, and belonging.

But healing doesnā€™t always happen on the mat.
Sometimes it happens in front of the lens.

Thatā€™s why we also offer photography as a form of restorationā€”a way to reconnect with your strength, your story, your reflection.

You made it through. You are allowed to be seen. You are enough.

Whether you're rebuilding, leveling up, or simply remembering who you areā€”this space is here for you.
