I have a degree in Kinesiology, am an ACE-certified personal trainer and recently completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training from the Bhaktishop in Portland, OR. I lead group fitness classes, private and semi private personal training sessions. My passion is to encourage and educate folks to be active participants in their own health. Just me, myself, & I these days in the yoga practice.
It’s okay. I’m okay. I’m in a good place. ❤️💛💙
I miss yoga studios, dharma talks & even online classes, but I’m letting go to see what happens next. 💜🎈🤷🏻‍♀️

How are 1️⃣1️⃣ years of self study, learning/ sharing knowledge, & my self discovery unfolding? 🎁
How does my yoga practice show up in my life off the mat? 🧘🏻‍♀️➡️Ⓜ️

That’s a critical question. 💯

Am I practicing ahimsa?
Am I truthful with my words?
Do I practice moderation?
Do I practice non attachment? (Without being complacent?)
Am I pure with my thoughts?
Am I content with the life I’m living?
Do I follow my daily rituals faithfully- & do those rituals serve a greater good? 💙🌀💙

Clearly, “teaching” yoga is not in my heart right now. 💟 It hasn’t been for quite some time. 💟 It’s time to listen. 💟

I am not in a place to tell anyone what they should think or do or feel regarding their practice. I really just want to practice being me. 🙋🏻‍♀️♒️🧜🏻‍♀️
My hope is that my thoughts, words, and deeds align toward a life of compassionate action. 🧠+🗣+🏹= 😻🙏🏽🎯

So that’s that. I’ve closed Meredith Reading Fitness & Yoga officially. 🤓✅👍🏽

Instead of thinking someone else needs to change, or even changing yourself for that matter, consider slowing down your busy-ness and invite some quiet awake time into your week. Practice simply observing how you show up in the world.
Undoing years of habitual/ patterned behavior can take several seasons of intentional living.
I'd like to help!
Self Awareness Small Group series begins next week!

• When I reach a state of overwhelm, I return to a place of familiarity: my body and my breath. 💜
• Connecting these two allows my brain to return to its safe place. 🌸
• Connecting my movements to my breath pattern gives me
a sense of control. 💙
A sense of purpose. 🌀
A sense of joy. 💙
• When I connect my actions to my thoughts (my body & my mind) I feel connected to others who need to feel these qualities, too. 💜💛💚💙💚💛💜

My breath is my companion, my guide, and my tool. And it is always accessible to me if I slow down enough to access it.

Hello! I’m starting a 4 week virtual mindful movement pilot program.
You will receive a weekly video w theme & breath work/ meditation prompts.
On a Tuesday late morning, we’d meet virtually for a mindful movement practice (will be recorded) & later in the week th/ fri we’ll meet for a virtual healthy/ happy hour to check in & share stories.
This will be a chance to circle in community, examine habits and set personal goals, & offer tips to establish wellness routines.
