In order to understand how sound healing works, it is first important to realize that our entire universe vibrates with sound. Sound is a vibration that travels through matter as a waveform. Even before birth, we are immersed in sound, in utero , as we become familiar with our mother’s heartbeat. Our bodies are over seventy percent water and sound travels five times more efficiently through water

than air. This allows for sound frequencies to stimulate the body down to the cellular level. Tuning Forks are very effective vibrational healing tools. Guided Imagery is a modality of healing in which you deliberately use your imagination and sensory imaging to help your mind and body heal and stay well. Drumming or a Drum Circle is another modality of sound healing which is interactive. Drums have been used for centuries by all cultures. We connect with drumming in a primordial sense, as we tap into our inner selves.
