Employee spotlight – Chelsea D. – Social Services Manager

Since 2014, Chelsea has been our Social Services Manager. She graduated from MSU, also in 2014, with a degree in social work and has a certification in gerontology.

Chelsea’s dream trip is to Ireland. “It’s beautiful there! I love nature and exploring new places.”

What do you like best about working at Hazel Findlay? “The people I work with, that HF is a non-profit, learning about the residents and the sense of community.”

Fun facts – “Enjoy outdoor activities – hunting, fishing, kayaking, gardening and camping.”

HUGE shoutout to the dedicated people in the laundry department. During the month of October, they broke their all-time record of loads completed. In one month, they did 650 loads of laundry!!!! WOW

Yesterday, was a great day! We honored our 11 resident veterans, as well as 1 staff member, during a beautiful ceremony. Each veteran received a certificate, pin and gifts from Hazel Findlay and Compassus Hospice. Chuck also joined us and provided patriotic music. Thank you to our veterans!
