The end of seven years of marriage didn't exactly go out gently. Stolen cars, goodbyes to our beloved kitty, stressors beyond our control, and covid as a cherry on top.

But through it all we held each other in our bond and devotion to one another. Happy anniversary my love, here's to a brighter year ahead, many more together, and climbing all those hard to reach places.

Last month I got to watch my oldest niece get married. Whiskey is a big deal to her and her new husband and somehow they worked with their pastor to incorporate doing a shot into the wedding ceremony.

Man, I hope that's the only kind of shot that sweet girl will ever know.

There's so much loss of innocence with infertility. Everything takes on a significance you never imagined it would- s*x, doctor's visits, questions from friends and family, and shots. Shots galore.

Shoutout to all the wounded warriors out there who should never have to know the meaning of shots like this. ❤️
