Who:
Individuals born outside the United States—and/or their children—who are currently providing direct support in long-term care.
What:
A FREE training program designed to strengthen your skills, expand your knowledge, and support long-term career advancement.
Offered by ARRM in partnership with STAR Services, this program helps you build expertise and open doors to new opportunities. Funding is provided through the New Americans Long-Term Care Workforce Grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Training topics may include:
• Person-Centered Thinking (PCT)
• Principles of Leadership for Supervisors
• 245D Program Standards
• Positive Supports Rule (9544)
• Designated Coordinator/Manager Development Program (DCDP)
When: July 2026 – January 2027
