Fun Fact we have only been doing daylight savings for about 116 years since 1908.

Most US states observe daylight saving time (DST), but Arizona and Hawaii do not.

Arizona
Most of Arizona, including Phoenix, doesn’t observe DST.
The Navajo Nation observes DST to coordinate tribal affairs.

Hawaii

Dress in Blue Day is a day to raise awareness of colorectal cancer and encourage people to wear blue.

It takes place on the first Friday of March.

Why it’s important:

Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States.

It’s mostly preventable and screening can help find and remove growths before they become cancerous.

The American Cancer Society recommends that people at average risk start regular screening at age 45.

How to participate:

*Wear blue clothing, shoes, makeup, or hair dye

*Learn about your risk factors

*Schedule a screening if you are due

*Donate to organizations that support colorectal cancer research and screening

*Use to share on social media

Additional information:

*March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

*The Colorectal Cancer Alliance believes that colon cancer is one of the most treatable forms of cancer if caught early enough.
