Meet Bella, a golden retriever whose life is a beautiful story of love and loyalty. 🐾

At nearly 16 years old, she’s been a steady companion to the West family through so many seasons. From turning fetch into playful keep away to greeting children with gentle joy, Bella has always done things her own way. 🐶

“She’s still right there with us,” her family shares, a reminder that the bond we share with our pets only grows stronger over time. 💛

Just like the season around us, our community thrives when we show up, support local, and spend time with the people who matter most. 🌿

Autism Acceptance in Action 🤍

This April, we’re seeing a meaningful shift from awareness to acceptance. Here in Salem, organizations like are helping lead that change in real, tangible ways.

Acceptance isn’t passive. It shows up through opportunity, inclusion, and the willingness to rethink how we support one another in everyday life. At Garten, that means creating pathways to meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities. Access to work builds confidence, independence, and a true sense of belonging.

It’s also a reminder that every individual brings unique strengths. Many people on the autism spectrum offer incredible focus, attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving skills. These are qualities that make our workplaces and communities stronger.

Small moments matter too.
• Ask for help if you need it
• Speak up if you see someone who could use support
• Look out for one another

That’s where real community starts.
