Excited to announce there will be two farms starting this spring Ravenwood original site will be focusing on kids , teens, lessons, and summer and day camps. Our new location will be a retreat wellness center focused on rescuing both humans and animals . Megan, Lindsay and I are combining our knowledge/trainings of Yoga, Somatic Breathwork, Reiki I/II, holistic food, meditation, plant medicine (cacao, Rapé), drum\music circles , sound bowl healings, and chakra tuning and clearing. We will be working from the ground with the horses for mirror work and intuitive horsemanship. Mirror work with the horses is truly magical they see through whatever wall, barrier, or face we think we are showing the world and react to the energies we are actually carrying around with us. All humans and animals send out energy all the time. The horses pick up on our emotions all around us in every situation and moment. The horses feel our state of energy as our intent and then perceive the energy as how we will treat them. Horses being prey animals sense they’re surroundings through a highly advanced awareness for body language, movement and energy.
Ravenwoods horses act as mirrors for participants energy and intent at all times. We suggest to everyone to take a few deep breaths and clear your mind and body before working with the horses. Without grounding yourself the horses will pick up on the energy remaining from the fight with your mother this morning. We learn to be truly conscious dialing our minds back to this present moment. So much is learned from what we mirror to our horse and they mirror back to us. Riding can always be arranged before or after retreat sessions just reach out to us and we will get it scheduled. Summer camps for the kids and teens whether day or overnight have the option each day for riding or doing mirror 🪞 work. Again riding is available but not the forefront of the program. We will be splitting up into daily groups based on what each participant or parents feels comfortable doing. Children and teens camps are working with the 22 school horses. The adult retreat program are actually working with rescued animals. Hence the whole human and horses rescuing each other approach. They both need each other to learn to navigate this world. The horse and human rescue animals are adoptable to loving homes as well all funds help us to save more animals and pay for the horses at Ravenwood children’s center. We are a 501c3 non profit work to ride program, and now also a horse and animal rescue. So exited for this next year this work will be life changing and I am so honored to facilitate it.
