Kindness is a powerful part of recovery.
Every day, small moments of compassion, empathy, and understanding help people feel safe, valued, and capable of change. These simple human connections create stability, build trust, and support the courage it takes to heal.

Recovery happens in community, and kindness is one of the greatest gifts we can offer to those we serve, to those we work beside, and to ourselves.

Let’s choose kindness, empathy, and compassion today and every day.

Happy World Kindness Day.

More news from The Bridgeway Community Foundation!

The Foundation provided a $5,000 grant to the Iron Tribe Network on November 5th.

Iron Tribe, one of our community and Behavioral Health Resource Network (BHRN) partners, offers housing for adults who are post treatment or actively participating in outpatient services. Individuals are responsible for their own food and personal expenses, and many rely on SNAP benefits. This donation is dedicated specifically to food, helping individuals access nutritious options that support their wellbeing.
