Saline County Food Action Community Team We are a food policy council serving Saline County.

Our mission is to build a strong, culturally appropriate local food system and improve access to healthy food for all in Saline County. We envision a thriving community with open pathways leading to healthy living fueled by local food resources. Current FACT members are from Salina Church of the Cross, Prairieland Market, Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank, Kansas Wesleyan University, K-State Research & Extension, Saline County Health Department and Kansas Mobility Management.

Create confidence in the kitchen with our Knife Skills workshop! Get hands-on experience learning basic cuts, knife safety, and maintenance. You will leave with practice materials for home.

Our food donations are critically low right now, and the Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland and Dillons are teaming up to help make it easy for you to help us through the Girl Scouts x Dillons Food Drive! 🥫💙

Tomorrow, stop by any of these 28 Dillons stores between 11 AM and 2 PM, and consider grabbing an extra item or two while you're shopping to donate to the Kansas Food Bank and our partner agencies. The troops will be at the store entrances to collect donations for us, with an ambitious goal of collecting 15,000 pounds of food in one day.

Your donations help us more than you know, and will help us share much-needed pantry staples with families right here in our community.

Outside of Wichita & Garden City Dillons stores, here's where your donations will immediately benefit:
