☑️ bucket list goal unlocked 🔓 when I first bought my bowls from I told myself one day I’m gonna host soundbaths here flash forward-> to making that happen last night.
&
I was the first outside contracted practitioner they brought in the space which is also pretty sick 🤌🏽☺️ celebrating Lil wins along the way goals that I set for myself that I’m achieving.

grateful to announce that I will be hosting biweekly Breathwork and Sound Baths every other Friday 6:30 PM -7:30 pm 😇

PTSD came in strong. Sometimes it’s so overpowering — and if you’ve ever been there, you know what I’m talking about.

What felt soothing to my nervous system was getting into a hot space — the sauna — and slowing my breath. ( *before I got in the hot sauna I grounded with a 4 count breath in 7 count breath hold with a 8 count out- I never hold breath or do active breathing in a sauna 🚫)

Then, gently shocking the system with cold exposure — which always seems to help me reset.

Every episode feels different, but this was what I intuitively felt called to do. I arrived at at about a 10 — dissociated, looping — and left closer to a 2.

Just being around the community energy there was so supportive. I started with slow, grounding breaths then the sauna, then moved into a cold shower and a quick plunge (not too long, since my system was already under stress).

I made sure to get the cold water over my vagus nerve, then cycled back to heat — about three rounds total.

I left feeling balanced, regulated, and deeply grateful for the power of breath, heat, cold, and connection. 🤍
