We think more New York women should destination birth in Utah. Did you know that more Utah women choose midwife-assisted births at home or birthing centers than any other state in the U.S.? Why? It’s been almost a year with midwife Nicole Moemai, CPM,LDEM, and I realize I haven’t properly introduced her here, yet!

Nicole joins us highly regarded from a high volume community birth center in southern California. She is committed to providing exceptional care to every mother with respect, dignity and kindness. She empowers families to make informed, evidence-based decisions about their health while maintaining autonomy throughout their birthing journey. Nicole believes in addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of mothers, infants and families, creating a safe supportive environment for a positive empowering birthing experience. Nicole’s training was under mentorship of experienced midwives in her California community. She is in pursuit of a Bachelors of Science in Midwifery from National College of Midwifery to round out her education. Nicole is married to her high school sweetheart of 20 years and is mother to eight children. She enjoys time outdoors and cherishing moments with her family. Nicole is honored to be a part of each family’s birth story, ensuring every mother feels supported and respected.

Nicole currently holds Sego office visits Mondays and Fridays, and makes field rounds at the end of her clinic days. She’s caught a bunch of our little babies this year!

We love her skills, and laid back- yet conscientious demeanor.

We are midwifing in Wyoming! Handled a birth in Lander and a visit in Jackson. What a cool retreat to a place I lived almost 30 years ago. I feel pulled to search out a cabin with a babbling brook to use as retreat and Wyoming base.

We love this cute fam and tending them means a lot to us. ♥️ They have now had both homebirth and birth suite experiences with us.

Standard of care in many European urology offices, acoustic sound wave treatments getting a lot of attention for urinary incontinence, sexual function / lubrication and sensitivity and aesthetic components. This is a once weekly for 3 weeks protocol. Currently pricing discounted at $900 total for 3 weekly sessions. Typical recommended pricing from distributor is $1800 total. DM to book. 2016-2021. Additionally, 81% who transferred from planned birth center or home birth also had epidural / spinal anesthesia. I interpret this to mean that hospital providers only witness 12% of women choosing normal pathological unmedicated birth. I imagine it is difficult to be expert in something that is uncommon practice in institutional setting.

Just in! Utah among the top 5 states in the nation for home birth rate from 2016-2021. Planned out of hospital birth increased 43% from 3.5% in 2016 to 5% in 2021.
