The Air Medical Journal Association (AMJA) announces a leadership transition within the Air Medical Journal. We extend our sincere appreciation to 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂. 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐏𝐡𝐃, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐑. 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐃, for their many years of dedicated service to the Journal and to the air medical and critical care transport medicine community. Their commitment has contributed meaningfully to the strength of the AMJ, and we thank them for their contributions.

As we move forward, AMJA is launching an exhaustive international search for the next Co-Editors-in-Chief of the Air Medical Journal. The application window will open November 21, 2025, and will remain open through February 7, 2026. We invite innovative, motivated, and mission-driven leaders to apply.

This transition presents a pivotal opportunity to advance the Journal’s mission: to advance the scientific knowledge base of critical care transport medicine through peer-reviewed clinical and academic material. 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝, 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐆𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚, 𝐌𝐃 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐠 𝐓𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐃 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦 𝐂𝐨-𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬-𝐢𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟, ensuring continuity and supporting the strategic vision of the Journal.

We’re proud to feature “Stroke Management in Critical Care Transport Medicine: A Consensus Statement,” developed through the Air Medical Physician Symposium (AMPS) Lite.

This consensus statement brings together experts from across the globe to address best practices, knowledge gaps, and research priorities in the prehospital and critical care transport management of acute ischemic stroke.
