Did you know that you can reduce your stress levels simply by working out?
Exercise produce endorphin chemicals in the brain. These endorphins act as natural painkillers, improve the ability to sleep, which in turn reduces stress.
Some activities that help your body produce endorphins are meditation, acupuncture, massage therapy, breathing deeply, and of course various forms of exercise.
When stress affects your brain, it attacks your entire body. Stress can leave to anxiety, depression and exhaustion.
If stress has been something that you find has been depleting you of your energy or ability to concentrate donโt worry. There is hope!
Scientists have found that regular participation in aerobic exercise has been shown to decrease overall levels of tension, elevate and stabilize mood, improve sleep, and improve self-esteem. Even five minutes of aerobic exercise can stimulate anti-anxiety effects.
Next time you begin to feel stressed, try getting up and moving around a little. You may be surprised just how quickly your mindset changes!
